AR146 10" Columbiad Thick Walled Shell Marked "D" Atlanta Arsenal Very nice excavated 10" columbiad shell. This shell has strong metal and is very slick. There is one area that has light pitting but overall the shell is great. There is a nice mold seam that is visible and the shell is marked with a "D" for the Atlanta Arsenal. AR133 20lb. Parrott Long Shell 3.62" Nice excavated 20lb Parrott shell. This shell has strong metal and has very light pitting. The type I wrought iron sabot is intact. Part of the fuse is still remaining. Reference: D & G Pg. 219 Recovered: Unknown Price: $325.00 |

AR38 2.9" Parrott Shell with a Type III brass sabot Nice excavated Parrott shell recovered from Kennesaw Mtn. The metal on this shell is strong. There is very light pitting in spots but overall this one is pretty slick. The parrott fuse is still in place. The brass sabot shows distortion from firing but is still in place as well. AR80 2.94" Bourreleted Mullane Shell with Type I sabot (Short Nose) Nice excavated Mullane shell. This shell was recovered from Brandy Station, Va. many years ago. The type I copper sabot shows distortion from firing but is still intact. The bolt and all three pins are still in place as well. There are remnants of the wood fuse in place. This shell was cleaned many years ago exposing the nice mold seam, however, it was never coated. This shell is Id'd exclusively to Pelham's artillery at the battle of Brandy Station, Va. AR115 3.4" Britten Shell with Domed British Percussion Fuse Nice excavated 3.4" Britten shell. This is the type with the domed percussion fuse. The shell has strong metal and shows light to moderate pitting. The domed percussion fuse is intact and dented as is common with fired shells. The lead sabot is intact showing rifling and one area shows impact. I have recently learned that this may have been part of a large cache of Britten shells that were recovered from Cedar Creek in the 1970's. This shell probably was fired by members of Pelhams artillery later in the war after he was killed at Brandy Station. Reference: D & G Pg. 117 Recovered: Cedar Creek, Va. Price: $725.00 |

AR98 Federal 2.9" Parrott Shell for 3" Parrott Gun Nice excavated Parrott shell recovered locally with the wrought iron sabot. The metal is strong and has moderate pitting. The zinc fuse adaptor is partially missing. The digger's name and more information on this shell will be given to the buyer. This shell was recovered in a hole with another 12lb solid shot. AR111 CS 12lb Shell for wood drive in fuse Nice confederate shell for the wood drive in fuse plug. This one still has a lot of the wooden sabot remaining. The fuse hole is not pointed directly upward. Instead it is tilted to the side a little more. The shell shows light to moderate pitting.
